Chaos theory

Forget all this stuff about butterflies and hurricanes.

What I really want to know is this.

If I spend a morning sorting out cupboards and clearing surfaces so that one corner of my kitchen looks like this...

Why, when I turn around, does the rest of the house look like this?

  1. think the one corner of your kitchen looks fantastic, love the bright and cheery tiles. most of my house looks like the other view, take it easy,(you've been ill!) baby steps....

  2. looks like my house! i am chief of procrastination round here but it wasnt making me happy so i decided to change it, one 20 minute slot at a time.having purchased a kitchen timer with a very insistent beep, so i knew when time was up, i started on a pile. it worked! how good did i feel! now i just have to chase the rest of the pile left over round til it disappears, one 20 minute slot at a time. well done to you, its looking good! anonymous em ;-) (the lady who cant work out which one to select when leaving a comment!)

  3. The dichotomy of life - one side seems perfectly put together, the other is in pieces!

  4. Anonymous em - you've obviously come across the Flylady as well! Unfortunatley the messy side of the kitchen still looks as bad though, over a week later. Where did all those 20 minutes go?!

Before I started my blog I never knew what to select when I left a comment either - now it seems to just fill it in automatically with my google details so I still can't advise.

Don't think anybody minds what you fill in anyway - it's just nice to get comments so, thank you.
